Deme D is a content creator for DagogetaTv YouTube Hip Hop network & promotions. A self proclaimed Hip Hop junkie. The native New Yorker and child of a DJ uses his passion & knowledge of the culture to provide a variety of shows with original content. From debate shows, industry interviews, Vinyl and much more.
How it started
In this digital world where everyone is plugged into the internet consuming content on a daily basis, it's difficult to stand out from the crowd as a content creator. Even harder is to penetrate into the music industry if you're not a musician. And this is what makes Deme D a cut above the rest. His passion for Hip Hop is second to none as he embarked on a journey to give indie artists the platform that they need.
"I just saw it as a lane that was perfect for me being that I had an exact idea of the content I wanted to make and what audiences I'm looking for. It allows me to contribute to a culture I've been a part of practically all my life. Also knowing I had the tools to run the channel & promos."
This led him to produce DagogetaTV on YouTube which houses a variety of shows that gives spotlight to a lot of artists.
All for Hip-hop
Deme D's genuineness and love for Hip-hop has pushed him to be the person that he is today. As he shared,
"I just want to put out quality content that demonstrates how creative Hip hop culture is and can be. Speak on artists of yesterday that progressed the culture and some who may have been forgotten. Highlight acts who've put in work in the industry but may not get shine. Support the indie community."
Throughout the time of being a content creator, he has slowly built his brand and gained the loyalty of his audience. Without his supporters, Deme D will not last long in this industry but because he saw that there is an opportunity to create a community through his shows, he continues to improve himself and gives his best to the audience.
"My audience needs to know I love this shit, I slept, ate and Breathed it for years. I have more priorities now but I'm dedicated to the culture, not just what I can gain from it. You'd be hard pressed to find someone more passionate when it comes to this thing we call Hip Hop. I believe all my media platforms will display this."
