Billboard Hip-Hop hangs with “The Bat” himself Smvvth for a Q&A

1- Great to have you on our blog. Please, introduce yourself?
Thanks for having me, I’m Smvvth aka The Bat putting on for Greensboro NC

2- What got you into music and made you realize that it was your chosen path?
I was born in the 91 so I grew up in that era my pops and my uncle Pat introduced me to Hip-Hop and I just fell in love with it since then. So when it was about time for me to go to 8th grade back then I knew it was my path.

3- Tell us about your new Single. And what’s the story behind it?
I just released two new songs Metaverse and Spoiled. Metaverse is about the 3D virtual reality world. And Spoiled is about all the spoiled woman in the world. 

4- What makes your music unique? How would you describe it?
I just really want my music to make a connection with the listener. I also think my music can be healing.

5- What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
What advice would I give um .. Take your time but hurry up and never let any one stop you from your vision.

6- Who are your biggest musical influences? And any particular artist/band you would like to collaborate with in the future?
My biggest musical influences are Michael Jackson and Jay Z 

7- If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?
I’m thankful for all the Bats “fans” for flying with me and supporting The Colony.

8- What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?
Absolutely working on a new project now titled BT4. Also new Collection for my clothing brand FWTC “The Colony” set out to drop.
