Track of The Day: “Dirty Diana” By Prada Curse

We are always excited to receive tracks that we can’t label or place in a specific box. We think this kind of artistic behaviour will save music and help it go further.

Arahan Tashi Bhattacharjee (born March 3rd, 2005), known professionally as Prada Curse is a Canadian rapper/songwriter. The 16-year-old Florida-born and Vancouver-raised multi-hyphenate possesses wisdom and business acumen beyond his years coupled with impressive lyrical acuity. With an immensive catalog of music under his belt in a short period of time, Prada stands out to be a promising upcoming artist.

Prada opened up to us about being able to relate with his fans, and how crucial it is. “Making music is my therapy and escape” he says. “I’m trying to do something different you feel me? Almost everyone in the Vancouver scene is trying to gravitate towards the Toronto sound and that’s what I believe needs to change in order to grow as a city”. Prada's music consists of ambient instrumentals with soft melodies that give off a euphoric and angelic feel, drawing inspiration from big name artists such as The Weeknd and Don Toliver.

Gathering thousands of streams and receiving co-signs from the likes of BabySantana, Ski Mask the Slump God, 24KGoldn and many more, Prada presents an unfiltered and undeniable vision on his lead single titled “Dirty Diana” off his official debut mixtape, “black sheep”:
