We had the pleasure to discuss with Cmxgee, discover our interview with him right now:

1- Great to have you on our blog. Please, introduce yourself?
I’m a recording artist that goes by CMXGEE based out of Valdosta GA. I’m 19 years old.

2- What got you into music and made you realize that it was your chosen path?
I knew I would always find my way in music. When I was younger, I would always run to music for my problems wether that be school, family issues, anxiety, depression, etc. Music has always been apart of my life growing up because my dad was a big guitar player. He bought me my first guitar at 12 and I fell in love with music ever since.

3- Tell us about your new Single. And what’s the story behind it?
My most recent single “Take Me To The Moon” is about a girl I had a relationship to that I was questionable about. Basically, the lyrics say that the girl is so wrong for wanting to “take me to the moon” because I knew she would treat me right but she was a rude girl.

4- What makes your music unique? How would you describe it?
I’d say that my music is unique because I have a different way of expressing lyrics rather them say straight up what I mean. Almost like a “secrete code” behind my lyrics. Along with the lyrics, my scratchy voice when I sing give it a certain style.

5- What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
Some advice I’d give so some inspiring artist is to never listen to opinions from other when starting. No body wants to see anyone win in the early stages of a career. Also, never give up.

6- Who are your biggest musical influences? And any particular artist/band you would like to collaborate with in the future?
My biggest inspirations are Juice Wrld from the lyrical explanations to problems in life. Also, Justin Bieber for the younger home-made musical artist with a singing-like style.
A collaboration with MGK would be crazy.

7- If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?
One message I’d give to my fans is to love yourself for who you are. Never let anyone steer your ship. You’re the captain.

8- What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?
I have a lot of new singles I’m ready to drop that are a vibe.
