1- Great to have you on our blog. Please, introduce yourself?
I am DJ TP, from Memphis,TN

2- What got you into music and made you realize that it was your chosen path?
My first experience with music on my own was around age 6 I believe, my mother bought me a radio for Christmas & she always bought me CD’s for it & I would just blast the music all the time. That’s when I realized I had a thing for music & the sound of it.

3- Tell us about your new single. And what’s the story behind it?
I released a project entitled “THE BIGGEST” executively produced by me & engineered by brother DP the Legend at both 4U recording & 1st Class Studios. With this project I was trying to give a Gangsta Grillz type throwback feel on the tracks & it all came together perfectly. The project is doing very good on streams.

4- What makes your music unique? How would you describe it?
I don’t think there’s a definite description of my music. It all depends on the vibe or the mood in the studio at a given time. I try to be really transparent when producing, I honestly want you to feel my music more so than be able to think of a word when you hear it.

5- What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
My advice would be to never stop being a student, don’t feel like there is nothing more you could learn. Also, stay original. Originality = Longevity

6- Who are your biggest musical influences? And any particular artist/band you would like to collaborate with in the future?
A few of my favorite producers include people like Pharrell, Pierre Bourne, & Teddy Riley. The list could literally go on for days, but those are 3 people that just amaze me with their production every time I hear it.

7- If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?
Thank you, I’m forever indebted! Stay connected with me, we’re just getting warmed up.

8- What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?
Finishing up the deluxe version of “THE BIGGEST” then I’m starting production of a 90s inspired HipHop & RnB album entitled “Here We Go”
