On November 1st, 1989, Ronald Garrett Bey was cosmically born with an extraordinary musical gift. Taking on the stage name "Sheik Ron,"  because of his Moorish Science Temple background. Once you know him, you know that his character is all about everlasting development, accepting reality as it comes and paving the straight forward path for the next generation.

"Being raised in Chicago's west side, has kept him on his toes and motivated him to be the change that he wants to see around the world." Well respected as a Moorish American with the microphone and the Circle 7 as his insignia. Sheik Ron has performed throughout the cities of Chicago and New York within the underground Hip-hop scene. He is only getting started with his professional career. "Early on in my life, I was always a lover of soulful music. Many have said that I sounded like Rakim, KRS-One, Eminem, Tech-N9ne, Ghostface Killah etc,. It's an honor to be compared to these great names."
Sheik Ron Inherited a love for melodies and catchy word-play. His life was heavily influenced by award winning billboard charted artists such as Stevie Wonder, Jackson 5, Al Green, Earth Wind and Fire, The Chi-Lites, Lauren Hill, the Roots, A Tribe called Quest, Rakim, 50 Cent, Eminem, 3LW, Aaliyah, Akon, Ludacris, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Lupe Fiasco and many more that have made a huge impact on his musical prowess His latest release is entitled 'Dream House.'
